Vernier Magnetic Rings

Vernier magnetic rings are the ideal solution for industrial applications. They are particularly suited to robots for medical applications, automated production lines or machine tools.

Our Vernier rings consist of 2 magnetic tracks.

The main track, made up of several pairs of magnetized poles, enables position to be defined with great precision. The second track, called the Nonius track, has one pole pair less than the main track. The principle is to calculate an offset between the two tracks to define the absolute position.

The elastic properties of rubber, combined with good rubber-to-metal adhesion, ensure good performance in extreme environments.
Magnetic rings can be combined with iC-MU series Hall-effect sensors to create absolute measurement systems.
