Hutchinson has developped high performance conductive rings to divert bearing electric currents and avoid electronic disturbances.

One of the causes of failure of electric motor bearings is due to parasitic currents generated by the electric motor when it is powered by a VFD (inverter). These parasitic currents can cause electroerosion of the bearings and reduce their lifespan.

Our conductive ring has high electrical conductivity, low friction feature to minimize wear. Its robustness guarantees durability against mechanical stresses. The compactness of our design allows easy integration into a variety of electrical systems. Thanks to our expertise in dynamic sealing solutions, our experts design complete customized solutions, including a shaft seal, to extend the life of the electric motor.
