Slimline Sealing Washers
The slimline ring is a sealing solution for the axial application of air-conditioning fittings, replacing radially clamped O-rings (standard air-conditioning fittings). The slimline ring is a metal ring inside which an elastomer ring with a trapezoidal cross-section is bonded and vulcanized. Our violet EPDM elastomer blend offers optimized chemical resistance to R1234yf and is approved by many automotive OEMs: BMW, Daimler and General Motors. The metal insert is made of carbon steel (cold-rolled and cold-worked strip) and protected by an anti-corrosion treatment (Zn-Ni).
